Sarah hummed a tuneless melody as she wandered through the empty house. The scent of dust and old wood filled her lungs, a familiar comfort. Tomorrow, the wrecking ball would swing. Today, though, she was in no hurry. Each room held a memory, a ghost of laughter and whispered secrets.
